St. Elizabeth Physicians’ Psychology Services promotes intellectual, emotional, biological, psychological, social and behavioral well-being. Through personal and group interaction, Dr. Jesse Lambert offers psychological healthcare for individuals (5years of age and up), families and groups.

From minor to severe mental health issues, Dr. Lambert assesses each patient to determine the nature, causes and effects of the illness, as well as the level of personal, social and work dysfunction. Through a series of evaluations, Dr. Lambert assesses the psychological factors associated with physical, behavioral, emotional and mental health disorders. Assessments may include a Clinical Interview with the patient, Collateral Interviews with authorized individuals, a Mental Status Examination of the patient, and psychological testing.

Clinical Psychology, in particular, focuses on the prevention and treatment of emotional, behavioral, and mental factors causing distress or dysfunction. Intervention serves to promote satisfaction, adaptation and overall health.

Intervention techniques may include:

  • Psychotherapy 
  • Behavior therapy 
  • Marital and family therapy 
  • Group therapy 
  • Social learning approaches
