DAISY Award

Nurses are eligible to be recognized with the DAISY Award, an award given to a nurse who exhibits extraordinary skill and compassion in caring for patients.

Shared Governance

Nurses have their voice heard and share in the decision-making process through involvement and representation on a number of shared governance councils including the Nursing Practice Council and the Patient Care Policy Council.

Paid Time Off (PTO)

  • 4.92 hours per pay period (1 - 5 years service)
  • 6.45 hours per pay period (6-15 years service)
  • 8.0 hours per pay period (16-25 years service)
  • 9.53 hours per pay period (26 years + service)

PTO Sell-Back

During designated enrollment periods, team members may sell back PTO in 8 hour increments.

Extended Illness Time

Eligible team members accrue 2.154 hours of extended illness time per pay period up to a maximum of 480 hours. Part-time accruals are based on hours worked per pay period.

Medical Insurance

Different plan options provide various levels of benefit. An employer-funded health reimbursement account with higher deductibles and lower premiums is available. Leave of Absence

  • Personal 30 days may be granted upon manager, VP and HR VP approval
  • Military Leave while on active duty for military service
  • Education Leave granted for the duration of a training period, not to exceed six months
  • Family and Medical Leave up to 12 weeks leave for certain family and medical events

When eligible: For personal and education leave, after 6 months employment and 520 hours of service. For military leave, immediately. For family and medical leave, after one year of employment and 1,250 hours of service.

Bereavement

Up to three days paid leave (or 24 hours) for death in immediate family defined as: parent or guardian, brother, sister, spouse, dependents (including stepchildren), grandchildren, parent-in-law, grandparent, and great-grandparent.
