St. Elizabeth Physicians STEP-IN Clinic offers walk-in care for acute illness and minor injury for patients 10 and older. No appointment is necessary. The STEP-IN Clinic provides the same exceptional care offered by your PCP (Primary Care Provider). Your Diagnosis and treatment will be immediately shared with your PCP. You can even schedule a follow-up appointment with your PCP before your leave the office. Exceptional Care When You Need It Most.

STEP-IN clinic or Emergency Room?

Step-In Clinic:

Cold	Cough
Flu	Fever
Illness Related to a Chronic Disease	Minor Burns
Minor Cuts	Nausea
Infections	Earaches
Pink Eye	Sore Throats
Sprains and Strains	Possible Broken Bones or Simple Fractures
Bites

Emergency Room:

• Chest Pain
• Shortness of Breath
• Severe Abdominal Pain
• Uncontrolled Bleeding
• Head Trauma
• Seizure or Loss of Consciousness
• Severe Burns
• Signs of Stroke (sudden facial paralysis, numbness or weakness in the face, arm or leg, slurred speech, impaired vision or severe dizziness)
   

The St. Elizabeth Physicians STEP-IN Clinic should not be utilized for emergency treatment or services. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room.
